What are the dictionary hack and how can I make my own.

Dictionary files are just basic text files with different words listed down them. An example is shown below:
You can make your own dictionary files simply by making a long list like the above and they are usually done in notepad or word pad but can be edited just about in any text document software. It is also best to make your file read only and maybe into a different file extension so it cannot be edited.
What are they used for?
They are generally used with brute forcers; a brute forcer is a program which makes a series of attempts against something like a username and password until it has either correctly got it or ran out of text on the word list or dictionary file.
A brute forcer could be used to gain access and hack a persons email account depending on which brute forcer you have and what it is designed for, but all you do is insert the word list into the product usually from the menu and you are away.
The longer and more combinations your dictionary file has then the more chance you have of cracking a password, they can also be used for password retrieval if you have forgotten your password or username.
