Mobile Number Portability [ MNP ] Starts in India.
The MNP ( Mobile Number Portability ) has to be starts in India by 25th November from the Harayana circle, and if you are tired to your old connection then doesn't mind on that bcoz this portability service gives you the too much good facility to change your connection service provider's company according to your without changing your personal number.
while this service is provided by the state wise means the circle don't be change. i.e if you are placed in uttarakhad then you will become remain of the uttarakhand's subscriber not to other states.
So, you are not to be aware of that, you will just send a SMS to 1900. and your current provider company send a unique porting code to your cell phone and while filling out a detailed of the company you want to shift to within 48 hours, and that company will take over all your cell services.
As per the news the customer will have to pay of Rs. 19 to the new operator to change network via MNP as Porting charges. This service started in harayana recently and coming soon all over the India.
